- Help → Check for Updates with bounded, manual discovery from the official Segmelo metadata endpoint.
- Local and supported online video practice with Full Video and Temporary A/B playback.
- Saved Segments, Repeat and Speed controls, Practice Sequences, and Playlists within Free limits.
- Package-local approved mpv, yt-dlp, and ffprobe runtimes.
This is not a paid launch. Pro purchasing, Paddle checkout, and production activation remain unavailable.

Install or upgrade safely
- Close Segmelo and back up any important libraries.
- Verify the ZIP checksum above.
- Extract the complete ZIP into a new version-named folder; do not copy it over Beta 1.
- Launch
Segmelo.exefrom the new folder and verify your Library and state. - Keep the Beta 1 folder until you accept Beta 2. To roll back, close Beta 2 and launch Beta 1.
User libraries and preferences live under LocalAppData, outside the application folder. This release introduces no state-schema migration.
Unsigned Windows beta
This controlled beta is not code-signed. Windows may preserve Mark-of-the-Web from the ZIP and show SmartScreen or an Unknown Publisher warning. Confirm the official URL and exact checksum before deciding whether to run it. Do not disable Microsoft Defender or broadly bypass security warnings.
Optional YouTube prerequisite
Deno 2.x is required only for supported YouTube authorization. Install it from deno.com before using YouTube sources. Deno is not required for local video practice and is not bundled in this package.
